Bodywork sessions as unique as you.

Beth Imai's bodywork sessions are unique to each receiver. Given the right tools, space and knowledge, she believes the body is innately capable of healing.

Beth uses the ancient art form of tai chi to influence her movement around the table, and time-tested wisdom of her massage education at Institute of Psychostructural Bodywork in Santa Monica, California. She intuitively works with the body to create balance and harmony, noting, "if you spend the time to really listen to a person's body, it will tell you all of its secrets."

Sessions are held at Craniosacral Healing Arts in Pasadena, California. The collective & its practitioners are an LGBTQ+ safe space.

You can expect 5-7 minutes of consultation built into the session. For clients with multiple concerns, we suggest booking a longer duration of time (90+ mins).

If you are experiencing financial hardship, please inquire about sliding scale pricing.

About Beth Imai

IMG_8088.jpeg

Beth Imai (she/her) is a Certified Massage Therapist and Registered Yoga Teacher, currently practicing both modalities in Los Angeles, California. She also co-facilitates yoga retreats and specialty classes several times a year.

Beth studied Massage Therapy, Myofascial Release and Energy Work at IPSB (Institute of Psycho-Structural Bodywork) in Santa Monica, California. Her education at IPSB not only gifted Beth the technical skill in the art of Massage, but it brought her back home to her body in a profound way that she was eager to share with others.

Beth's unique approach to bodywork views the body-mind as a global entity; the body is not separate from the mind. In order to heal one thing, you must make strides to adjust your lifestyle to support your healing from all facets.

Utilizing the sacred art of Tai Chi, Beth curates each session thoughtfully and intentionally, using her body as a conduit to hold space for others. Each session is like a conversation, and she aims to empower her clients to advocate for themselves in their experience.

Beth teaches weekly public yoga classes at North Ray Yoga in Los Angeles (fka Modo Yoga). Her students will discover their connection to their bodies and breath in a safe and fun (heated) practice.

Testimonials

I recently had a massage with Beth, and it was truly exceptional. Beth's skill and intuitive touch not only relieved the pain I was aware of but also uncovered areas of tension I hadn’t even realized were there. Her expertise is clear, and she creates a calming, relaxing environment that feels like a sanctuary. I left feeling renewed. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend her to anyone in need of bodywork.

Beth has an in tuned Sixth sense with the body and healing energy along with an acute knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Her touch is grounding, nurturing, guided and I sank in with in the first minute. Highly recommend experiencing her work!!

Where to even start?! Beth is an incredible person who is SO in tune with the human body, what might ail it and how to either heal it or keep it in finely tuned. I was experiencing pain in my lower back that went all the way down to my knee caps, and she figured out where the pain was starting and I feel confident that I am on the road to healing with her help. So glad to have found her and could not recommend more.
